Last Friday, the Trojan basketball team took on the Red Oak Tigers at home.

Right off the bat, the Trojans went on a 4-0 run instantly taking the lead, and never looking back.

In the end of the first, the Tigers went on a short run cutting down the Atlantic lead to 26-20.

By halftime Atlantic was still ahead, 49-30.

Once the third quarter came to an end, the varsity team was given a break for the rest of the game, while the JV team finished out the game strong.

The final score of the game was 92-52.

Four players scored in double digits with, senior Garrett Franken at 24, juniors Scott Leonard at 19, Austin Alexander with 12, and Dillon Sonntag with 10.

The Trojans’ next game is today at home against Harlan.
