On Saturday, the AHS show choirs travelled to Dallas Center-Grimes to compete in the DCG competition. There were five 3A varsity groups, three 3A prep groups, and four 1A/2A groups participating.

The AHS Premiere show choir received fourth place for their performance. Diversity received third place. A comment from the show choir director Jennifer Gaesser was, “I think they both gave a solid performance for their first time out.”
Their next competition for diversity is on Feb. 11 at North Polk and for Premiere is Feb. 18 at Indianola.
