This upcoming weekend, the AHS show choirs will be traveling to Dallas Center Grimes High School who is hosting a show choir competition called “Take Two.” The group will be leaving on Saturday morning at 7:45 to compete. The show choirs, Diversity and Premiere are going to perform the same routines they did for Swing Inn.

Junior Tomma Jessen, who is participating in the competition for the third year, said, “I really enjoyed doing it in 8th grade and decided to do it on a more competitive level.”

Jennifer Gaesser will be directing the show choir at the competition for her fifth year. “I am just excited to go out with the students and perform our shows in front of an audience.”
