Atlantic Trojan wrestling just got a new look for their singlets. These new singlets were designed by senior wrestlers, and paid for by a fundraiser.

The wrestlers raised the fundraiser money at the beginning of the season at the Wrestling Hall of Fame Banquet. Each athlete was given tickets to sell, 10 sold tickets got them a singlet for free. The regular price for each singlet was $70.

Senior wrestlers Zac Stork and Devin Siedlik both helped design the singlets. Stork says that Coach Tim Duff gave them options for the design on their singlets, and the seniors liked the American flag design. “I like the way it turned out” Stork said. Siedlik thinks that they’re “flashy” and “very patriotic.”

Coach Duff thinks the wrestlers “really like them,” and that they think it’s cool to have their last name on the back of the singlet.

The Trojan wrestling team wore the new singlets for the first time at the Rollin Dyer Tournament. Duff says that the team will continue to wear them at certain times throughout the rest of the season.
