GUARDIAN – Senior Catherine Leonard guards the post in a varsity game. Basketball has always been Leonards favorite sport.
GAME PLAN – Coach Kelly Juhl lays out the game plan before the game began. The girls lost the game 49-67.
INTENSITY – Megan Behrends, Alyssa Ginther and Brooke Newell wait near the bench to enter the game. They competed against Harlan and dropped to 9 straight losses.
WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER – The girls’ varsity team line-up for the National Anthem. “We work really well together, it’s just a fun group to be around,” sophomore Alyssa Ginther said.
ALL EYES ON THE BALL – Sophomore Baylee Newell watches her teammate score the ball. Newell has been playing basketball since the fourth grade.
LUCKY 11 – Junior Alyson Anderson guards her opponent during the game. “During basketball, Aly Anderson always gives her all and it pays off on the court,” Halsey Bailey said.
LISTEN UP – During the first quarter coach Kelly Juhl called a time out. Seniors Catherine Leonard and Mckenna DenBeste led the team in points.
