The Trojans put out an aggressive effort despite losing three games against Harlan Thursday Sept. 14.

In the first match, the girls went 11-25, in the second 14-25, and in the third 15-25. Coach Emma Walker said, “Our best hitter went up 30 times, and was aggressive, and was only able to get 6 kills on them.  Harlan just doesn’t let the ball hit the floor, and we couldn’t match that.  It is just something we will continue to work on, and hopefully get better.”  The girls need to “improve each and every day” and  have to “play the best to know how to become the best,” Walker said.

Senior Catherine Leonard attempted 30 hits at the net, but only came away with 6 kills. Senior Megan Behrends led the Trojans with 11 digs, and junior Cheyenne Elliott had two solo blocks at the net.
Varsity Trojan volleyball also had a tournament Saturday, Sept. 17 at Red Oak High School. Their next game is Tuesday at home against St. Albert.
