Coach Eric Waldstein will return to college coaching in the fall. As of May 11 Waldstein, Atlantic High School football coach, has released that he has accepted the job at Rochester Community and Technical College as the head football coach. Waldstein said he was excited to return to college coaching.  

According to the press release from the RCTC athletic department,  Waldstein said he has missed “the recruiting and working with student-athletes who are committed to their academics and athletics.”

Walstein spent two years as the Atlantic head coach. In his two seasons he led his team to a 2014 record of 3-6 and a 2015 record of 1-8. Waldstein has held coaching positions at Carthage College (WI), Cornell College (IA), Harper College (Palatine, IL), and Presentation College (SD).
