Yesterday, May 10, the Atlantic girls’ tennis team defeated Southwest Valley 8-1. This is the second team victory of the girls’ season.

In singles, #1 junior Jena Brosam won 8-6, #2 junior Olivia Davis won 8-4, #3 junior Kyja Arnold lost 3-8, #4 sophomore Heather Freund won 8-3, #5 junior Carly Westphalen won 8-3, and #6 junior Alexis Boes won 8-3.

In doubles #1 Davis and Arnold won 8-3, #2 Brosam and Boes won 8-4, and #3 Freund and Westphalen won 8-0.

The next meet, for the girls, is this Saturday, for the district team tournament in Red Oak.
