Last Friday evening the Trojans took on Dallas Center-Grimes for the homecoming game and suffered a 7-47 loss to the Mustangs. Senior Collin Baker scored their lone touchdown of the night on a two yard run.

Head coach Eric Waldstein said, “DC-G was a good football team. We are going to regroup, make some changes, and move on to Shenandoah. We want to finish the season strong for our seniors.”

Senior Collin Baker said, “We got off to a really slow start, but we need to learn how to come back and keep going. When things aren’t going our way, we need to learn how to work through it.” According to senior Tyler Thomas,  they “weren’t prepared enough.”

Senior Skyler Svoboda said, “They were a pretty good team. We had good coverage on them, but they made good catches.”

The 2-4 Trojans travel to Shenandoah this Friday night for non-district play. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the theme for students is to be announced.
