Mariah Huffman is a 15-year-old sophomore at Atlantic Highschool. She decided to join Journalism because she wanted to take pictures. Her favorite memory in Journalism has been taking pictures at TWIRP volleyball. M. Huffman is also involved in track, cross country, softball, and dance. Some of her hobbies include drawing and running. She has five brothers and two sisters. One of her sisters is actually her twin, Hailey. Outside of school, her main activity is dance. M. Huffman has been dancing since she was 2 years old, for a total of 13 years. She currently dances at Dance Atlantic. M. Huffman does hip-hop, tumbling, ballet, and tap. Her main genres of dance are hip-hop and tumbling. For hip-hop she has a traveling and recital routine and for tumbling just has a recital routine. “It’s fun, I like to learn new skills, and be with my friends,” said M. Huffman when asked why she dances.
