Emily Schreiner

Emily Schreiner , Editor

Emily Schreiner, 17, is an editor for the AHS Needle. Schreiner has worked on many projects, but she says her favorite one was “The Tree In The Middle Of The Road” video. She also said, “In general I like to edit the videos.” Schreiner said she enjoys journalism. “I like how we all work together to get stuff done.”

Outside of school Schreiner participates in dance. She said one fact about her, “not a lot of people know I can’t see with my eyes shut.”

Schreiner’s idea of a perfect relaxing afternoon is to watch “How To Get Away With Murder.” One thing she said she wouldn’t change about herself is her personality. Schreiner said her friends would describe her as “goofy and outgoing.” In describing herself, Schreiner said, “I’m unique. That’s the only word.”

Schreiner’s favorite teams to root for are the Iowa State Cyclones and the Atlantic Trojans. She said she looks up to her mother the most because she is a great role model.

Schreiner said the person who knows her best is Jesus: “Stay holy.” Schreiner’s calming place is her bedroom. Schreiner said one thing she would never give away is her school gmail account.

Schreiner said if she had to eat one food for a year would be “pasta–anything with a high calorie count.” Schreiner said the last thing she baked was “my face, or maybe waffles.”

Schreiner said her wallpaper on her phone is “enjoying the Iowa State game with family.” Schreiner said one talent she would like to acquire–if it took no effort–is to play piano. Schreiner said “everyone should go out for journalism.”
