Abigail Smith, Broadcasting
Click, the camera turns on. Ready, quiet on set, Action! Junior Abigail Smith is a broadcaster for the Eye of the Needle. Her roles include making and editing videos. Last year as a journalism productions student, Smith and a few other broadcasters, (Ethan Steffens and Jada Jensen) won "Best of SNO" on their video, "Teachers in Love."
She is the daughter of Jason and Chris Smith and has two brothers, Braden and Cade. Her mom, Chris, is who she looks up to most because “She's hardworking and strong-willed,” Smith said. Outgoing and positive is how Smith described herself.
She is involved in volleyball, golf, softball, and AHS Fuel, and has had the opportunity to play at State softball. Smith said the golf team was “three strokes off from going to State” in the 2021 season. A talent Smith recently discovered is that she can hold a handstand for around 30 seconds.
