Tayler Burg, Journalism Production Student
Tayler Burg, a senior at Atlantic High School has been involved in journalism for the past three years of high school. Burg has also been involved in track, spanish club, National Honor Society, Student Council as well as MVP mentoring during her four years of being in high school. Her role in journalism is the business editor which keeps track of all the money that comes in from sponsors, and yearbook sales throughout the year. One thing that Burg likes about journalism is having free-range and creativity in the classroom. Her goals for journalism is staying on task and making sure that she has all of her spreadsheets done on time before they are due. Journalism has helped her in many ways like becoming more outgoing by going into the community, and talking to the different business owners and workers, and also meeting new people from around the school. In her free time, she likes to watch movies with her dogs and works at Dance Atlantic with the little kids. After graduation, Burg plans to attend Iowa State University to become an accountant.
