Lila Wiederstein, Staff Writer
Lila Wiederstein is a first-year member of journalism as a sophomore. Wiederstein decided to join journalism because she heard from upperclassmen that it was a fun and enjoyable class to take. Other peers told her that there is a lot of freedom and creativity within journalism and she thought that sounded like a good fit for her.
Wiederstein has many different interesting and active hobbies such as softball, basketball, volleyball, running, biking, hanging out with friends and family, going to the lake, and lifeguarding. Wiederstein is very well known around the school as being kind-hearted, honest, sweet, and very funny. She is always looking out for others and would be the first to help anyone in any situation.
Wiederstein’s favorite part about journalism is getting the opportunity to take pictures and report on new and upcoming events. She is looking forward to getting to write stories for people and taking pictures at a lot of school events she wouldn’t normally go to.
