Lila Wiederstien is a junior journalist here at Atlantic High School. She is an active member of the AHS journalism team with a focus on the yearbook. Wiederstien said, “It’s fun to take pictures and put them all together.” She is most proud of finishing the 2023-24 yearbook. She said, “It was so rewarding to see the finished product.” While in high school she is involved in volleyball, basketball, track, softball, and AHS Fuel. Last softball season she broke the record for the highest batting average in school history and led the state in hits. During track, she climbed up to second in school history for the furthest jump in the long jump. Some of her hobbies include hanging out with friends or family and playing sports. Outside of school, Wiederstien works at the Atlantic Golf and Country Club where she is a lifeguard and a waitress. After high school, she hopes to study kinesiology or pre-law. Going along with that she wishes to continue her softball career.
