Jayci Reed is a junior organizer for the gold sponsors, she also helps social media management. Reed has been involved in journalism for 2 years. She currently isnt an inclass journalist, but still works hard and makes things happen for AHS journalism. Reed’s favorite part about journalism is the friends you make along the way. “The ability to show your own opinions,” said Reed. Reed has learned a lot from being a part of journalism from improving organization to communication skills. Her proudest accomplishment has been going out and achieving the gold sponsors for the 2024-25 school year. “It involves the community and getting people to be more involved in the school and student body,” Reed said. 

Apart from journalism Reed has been involved in volleyball, track and field, choir, show choir, AHS fuel, student council, and National Honor Society. Outside of school Jayci does dance at Dance Atlantic. 

Reed highly values her family. They have impacted her life so much. Reed said, “they’ve helped me become who I am.”
