Braden Spurr, JP Staff
Sophomore Branden Spurr enjoys interacting with new people and interviewing during journalism. It’s what he enjoys most about the class. “You get to know more about them,” Spurr said.
A journalism project Spurr is most proud of is the story he did about Mallory Robinson and her new role as the communications specialist for the Atlantic Community School District. He set up the interview and talked with her before ever meeting her. “I was nervous before the interview, but then it got more comfortable,” Spurr said.
Spurr is involved in band, he plays the tenor saxophone, cross country, track, and archery. “I look up to my dad because he is a hard worker,” Spurr said. Being a hard worker is important to him. Two phrases that Spurr would use to describe himself would be hardworking and easing going. He likes to “go with the flow.”
