Kuemper Catholic Pushes Past Trojans and Other Area Teams
Atlantic, as well as Carroll and Red Oak claimed losses against the Knights and ended their seasons.

Bump, Set, Spike! On October 17, the Atlantic volleyball team played the first round of Regionals at Kuemper Catholic.
In the first set, the girls lost 25-2 as they didn’t fight the tough Knights on the play-by-play. The set concluded in less than five minutes. Starting libero Mia Trotter said “I thought that the team let our mistakes pile up and once they scored about 15 points on us, we all just gave up.”
During the second set, the girls bounced back and earned 10 points on Kuemper. The match concluded with the third set score of 25-6. Kuemper had 33 kills on Atlantic and the night ended within 40 minutes. The girls ended their season 8-28.
Kuemper is slated to attend the state tournament after surpassing Carroll and Red Oak.
