He’s faster than a speeding bullet, or in other words, Blake Pelzer knows how to run. Pelzer participated in cross country, basketball and track, but said his time spent in cross country was his favorite part of high school. Before, Pelzer wanted to become a farmer because his father had been one and it was appealing to him when he was younger. Now, he has set his sights more toward sports as a way to have fun. Pelzer was also employed at the YMCA as a lifeguard for “a little over two years” while in high school.

Pelzer plans to attend Northwest Missouri State University after graduating. He hasn’t decided what he will major in yet but is interested to see the choices available. Pelzer said he thinks of Northwest as “small but credible.” While he doesn’t have a solid plan made up yet, he can run, shoot hoops or save you from drowning. Blake Pelzer is ready for whatever life may throw at him.
