Getting to Know the Class of 2018: Jaden Green
Senior Spotlight featuring Jaden Green
May 9, 2018
Jaden Green is the son of Heather Green and has one younger sister named Jersey. Green spent most of his time in high school hanging out with friends and “trying to stay out of trouble.”
Green said he has visited many colleges but is unsure of where he wants to go yet. “I want to go for something along the lines of mechanics or robotics,” Green said. When he was younger he wanted to be a mechanic because he thought it would be fun to work with vehicles every day. After Green bought his first truck, it showed him that working hard and saving up pays off. This encouraged him to save up his money to buy another one later.
Some of Green’s favorite school memories include playing football and baseball in middle school and he said Atlantic is one of his favorite places to be. “I can’t see myself leaving Atlantic,” Green said.
One of the biggest moments in Green’s life was when he had to go to the EOC after his foot surgery. Without it, Green said he doesn’t know if he would’ve been able to catch back up on his schoolwork. His grandfather has also had a big impact on his life. He taught Green many important skills and showed him how to work hard. “He taught me that you’re not going to get anything in life if you don’t work for it,” Green said.
