When students get on AHSneedle.com, they can comment on their favorite stories and articles.
Sophomore Josh Schorle is a reader who has commented on several stories. Schorle said he comments “to give my thoughts and ideas about the article, pictures, or whatever it was that I found interesting.” Schorle also said his favorite article is Paul Honke’s “Over-rated.”
Shorle checks the website when he is in study hall if he has nothing else important to do.
Schorle would like to see the website offer display pictures. “I know when you leave a comment there is a spot for a picture and it may be nice for people to [post] their own pictures. However, I know there might be the problem of appropriateness.”
Readers on AHSneedle.com are encouraged to leave comments on stories as long as names are given. The first time a student posts a comment, there is a delay in posting until the identity and email can be verified.
AHSneedle staff appreciates reading comments posted by the readers. Senior editor Tess Dusenberry said, “It’s nice to hear others’ opinions about your writing. It’s a boost of confidence when people like your writing.”

Thought this was pretty cool, I see Josh’s name on a lot of articles. Good Job.
