Starting the year off with a bang, the speech/debate department will participate in a tournament that will help the students that creates a friendly competitive environment that will focus on helping the students in the future competitions in the upcoming speech season.

It is located in Indianola, IA, hosted at the Simpson College, on Sept. 29 and 30. The students who are going to attend the tournament is unknown. There will be more information on this on Thursday when the speech director Alex Bales finds out what events will be held at Indianola.

This tournament is a new one that was recently brought back. An old coach, who now works at Simpson College, once participated in it with his students, decided to bring it back in hopes of helping those who aspire to do well in their own events this season.
