Girls Soccer May 18

On Monday, May 15, the girls’ soccer team played at home against Riverside and beat them 6-0, making a landslide win. Assistant coach Dan Vargason said, “We passed the ball well in the 2nd half and had much better energy. Our teamwork was much better than it was last week. Also, our effort was good and we outworked them most of the game.” Vargason also added ”We need to come out faster to start games. Sometimes we fall behind early, and it’s harder to play from a deficit. We also need to continue to improve on finishing. There were some nice goals, but we need to be more consistent on scoring opportunities”. The next game will be on Thursday may 18 at home against Carroll.
