Senior spotlight featuring Christian Moon.

Horticulture has been a passion of Christian Moon’s since Mr. Williams told him he should take the class. He ended up loving it. His future plans include attending Iowa Western to major in horticulture. His favorite memories of high school are doing horticulture every Tuesday and Thursday for two years.
Moon’s most memorable moment in life has been helping his volunteer firefighter grandfather with a grass fire in Wiota. He helped by tying the fire hoses together. His childhood self dreamed of being a firefighter just like his grandpa.
The most influential person throughout high school to Moon was Mr. Petersen. He said, “He was funny and was my favorite teacher.” He also said he got to see Mr. Petersen a lot. Moon’s advice to people would be to not fail classes your freshman year.
Before coming to Atlantic, Moon lived in Osceola, Iowa. He has a younger brother, Alex Harper, and a cat, Luda. If he could have any superpower, he would want to be invisible because “it would be fun to be able to do whatever you wanted without people knowing.”
