Reed went into the Prelims ranked 12th, with a time of 14.7. He finished third in his heat with a time of 14.5. After running that race, Reed felt confident going into the finals. “I felt great going into the finals. I felt like I ran pretty good,” Reed said.

Reed said that he felt good throughout the race, but knows he has room for improvement. “I felt pretty darn good. I’ve got some stuff to work on like always, but I felt good.”

After finishing both races, Reed said, “I felt that I ran pretty darn good in both the prelims and the finals!”

Reed will run two more races at Drake today, the 400 meter low hurdles, and the 4×400 relay.
