Over the course of the summer of 2016, Danyelle Hass-Hunter was invited to the Astellas Women Conference for women who have shown leadership through activities with the company. They went through different leadership activities and learned how to put them into play in their schools and communities. They spoke with Amy Cody and Robin Roberts. “ I also had a sit down session with Rhonda Rousey and got to have a lunch with the C.E.O of the Astellas Company, which was pretty cool,” Haas said. They sat down for forty five minutes and talked about the strong and weak points throughout their careers, and how it made them become more successful and helped them get to where they are today .
Throughout high school, Hass-Hunter has participated in soccer, FFA, large group speech, cheer and archery. Her favorite activity in high school was soccer, and favorite high school memory is when she scored a hattrick and the game winning goal in overtime against Harlan. After high school, Hass-Hunter plans on joining the national guard, attending Simpson College for criminal justice and criminology, and complete their ROTC program.
