Friday, August 26, the 2016 Homecoming candidates were announced. Each year seven girls and seven boys from Atlantic High School are selected by the senior class in seminar.  

This year’s queen candidates are Megan Behrends, Kasandra Brooks, Olivia Davis, Emily Hohenberger, Madelyn Kickland, Catherine Leonard and Bailey Schildberg.

This year’s king candidates are Garrett Franken, Nathan Gifford, Mitchell Ginther, Nathan Moen, Jake Olsen, Drake Roller and Zachary Stork.

Starting September 6, freshmen through seniors will vote for one queen and one king and the winner will be announced on Friday, September 9 at the Homecoming assembly.  Each candidate will ride in the Homecoming parade before the football game.

The candidates will also be recognized at the school dance on September 10.
