New School Year, New Rules
August 24, 2016
With the new 2016-2017 school year coming back to a start, there have been a few new changes from the previous school years.
Principal Heather McKay said that students and faculty are “to follow handbook policies.” She also said that there are no new rules but that as a staff they are focusing on abiding by handbook policies more.
For students, they are going to have to use a passport in order to leave class from now on. This has been a rule that has been lightly enforced in the past.
For teachers, they are going to have to update their grades weekly. This will help with communication and hopefully keep students up to date with their grades.
As to everything else, all previous rules remain the same, and are to be enforced and followed as they’ve always been.
