Scout Report: AHS takes on Creston Friday, Dec. 11

The undefeated Atlantic Trojans boys’ basketball team prepares to take on the 1-2 Creston Panthers Friday night in Atlantic.

Trojan standout and Wayne State commit, senior Ryan Hawkins leads the team averaging 22.0 points and 17 rebounds per game. Fellow standout junior Garrett Franken averages 15 points and 5 rebound per game.

Creston top scorer sophomore Evan Jacobson averages 23 points per game and shoots seventy-five percent from beyond the arch. Creston top rebounder junior Carl Crawford averages 6.3 rebounds and eight points per game.

Atlantic looks to keep its hot start to the season going and extend its win streak to four with the win over Creston. Whereas Creston looks to get their season back on track with a .500 win percentage.

The freshman game starts at 4:30 p.m. with JV at 6 p.m.  The varsity Hawkeye 10 Conference game starts at 7:30.  The Atlantic Dance Team will perform at the half.
