Thursday, April 17, the girls and boys tennis team played against the Kuemper Knights. The girls were defeated at home 1-8, and the boys traveled to Kuemper and beat the Knights 5-4.

In singles, #1 player senior Codi Hitch lost 1-8, #2 sophomore Jena Brosam lost 2-8, #3 senior Grace Jacob lost 2-8, #4 sophomore Bailey Steffens lost 0-8, #5 sophomore Sydney Redler lost 0-8, and #6 sophomore Olivia Davis pulled out the only win for the girls of the night 8-4. In doubles, #1 Hitch and Brosam lost 0-8, #2 Jacob and Redler lost 4-8, and #3 Steffens and Davis lost 3-8.

On the boys side in singles, #1 player senior Nick Podhajsky won 10-4, #2 freshman Grant Podhajsky lost 9-11, #3 senior Ben Parker won 10-3, #4 senior Kyle Krueger lost 3-10, #5 senior Cain Stuart lost 5-10, and #6 freshman Cooper McDermott won 10-3. In doubles, #1 (Nick) Podhajsky and (Grant) Podhajsky won 10-7, #2 Parker and Krueger won 10-8, and #3 Stuart and McDermott lost 9-11.

On Tuesday, April 21, both boys and girls play Denison. Girls are home and boys are away.
