Sophomore Brendan Holmes greets Junior Nick Podhajsky to the court at the beginning of the game while the Atlantic Cheer Squad gets the student section ready for the game. Podhajsky is one of five starters for Atlantic. Holmes doesn’t start, but he’s seen plenty of playing time throughout this season.

Freshman Garrett Franken gets ready to shoot while Lewis Central defenders rush to put pressure on him. Franken ended up making this shot and a few after. This is Franken’s first year playing basketball for AHS.

Junior Joey Walker plays defense, hoping to make a stop against the LC offense. Walker plays point guard in his first year as a varsity starter. Walker ended the night with 11 points, 3rd highest on the team that night.

Senior Logan Steffens shoots a free throw at halftime while Senior cheerleader Lauren Krogman throws a ball to the next shooter in line. AHSFuel had candy to give away along with bragging rights if the free throw was made.

Junior Joey Walker watches his free throw go in while teammates Brody Peterson and Nick Podhajsky get ready to box out the LC rebounders. The Trojans ended up losing to the Titans 62-50 with a good effort but a shaky 3rd quarter.
