 The 2013 Cross Country team saw a few changes with the start of the season. Cross country coaches Bruce Henderson and  Sandy Cooper resigned after the 2012 Cross Country season.  With the absence of these two coaches, the team was left with returning Cross Country coach, Paul Iekel, now the head coach for both boys and girls XC.

Ashley Mosier, a kindergarten teacher at Washington Elementary, became the new assistant coach.  Mosier graduated from Simpson College (‘11). She has experience running Cross Country at both Griswold High School and Simpson College. Mosier’s opinion for the start of the season is, “It’s fun to get to know both boys and girls and to  see everyone push themselves. I am very excited for the season to start.”
