Emma Rose, Senior Magazine Co-Lead
Emma Rose is a Senior Co-Lead Editor of the AHS Senior Magazine. She hopes that the magazine will be finished in “tip-top shape” in record time this year. Rose has been involved in journalism since her sophomore year, influenced by her sister Bryer who had been in journalism before her. Rose had seen how many opportunities journalism encompassed and thought, “I should try.”
Last year she ran a small TikTok series called “Are You Smarter Than A Freshman?” and it’s one of her favorite memories, because “it was fun.” She also looked back on when she went to Drake University for a journalism camp. “I could spend time with my friends, and I got to meet a lot of different people.”
Aside from journalism, Rose has been involved in golf, volleyball, and baking. She hopes to bring efficiency, hard work, and good quality into everything she pursues.
