Sophie Johnson, Senior Magazine Junior Editor
Sophie Johnson is a junior editor of the Senior Magazine and takes photos of school events. Johnson has been involved in journalism for two years. Her proudest accomplishment is her “Cross Country Mentality” story on AHS Needle. Her favorite memories are doing the senior story interviews and getting to work with some of her brother’s friends. She said she likes giving the interviewees something to remember about their senior year. Johnson’s favorite part of journalism is doing interviews. “It’s so much fun getting to know your classmates and going around the school,” she said.
Other activities that Johnson is involved in are track, Cross Country managing, choir, show choir, musical, and AHS Fuel.
A big part of Johnson’s life is her faith and involvement in her church. Her main work is with the Children’s Ministry of her church. “I love getting to work with the kids and watch them grow into wonderful people,” said Johnson.
