Kaylee Stetzel, Staff Writer
Like any well-taken photograph, there is more to sophomore Kaylee Stetzel than meets the eye.
As a journalist, Stetzel favors photography and yearbook work; her favorite photo she’s taken was of a fenced dirt pathway in the fall. Her mother, alongside her natural interest in photography, inspired her to join journalism. Outside of journalism, Stetzel does archery and is a member of 4-H. Drawing, riding horses with her mom, listening to music, or hanging out with friends are some other hobbies of hers. She also has many pets, including seven cats, three dogs, and three horses.
Stetzel believes that her friends would describe her as loud and funny, and she’d describe herself as smart, an animal lover, and a “fun person to be around when you get to know me.” However, she believes others see her as timid. Stetzel hopes that journalism can allow her to branch out and not “keep to myself” as much. She believes that by honing her photography skills and keeping her school grades up, she can lift the camera shutter on her life and allow others to see the authentic person behind the photographs.
