Jaylynn Rosenbaum, JP Student
Jaylynn Rosenbaum is a sophomore journalist and Staff Writer at Atlantic High School, and this is her first year participating in journalism. She decided to take journalism in tow of her oldest brother, who took journalism for about two years Rosenbaum thought that it could make for a thrilling, new learning experience. Her most prized piece in journalism so far is the story she wrote covering All-State.
Rosenbaum is fond of the various facets that apply to journalism, especially when it comes to working with cameras. She finds great enjoyment in photography, and figures vehemently that it is her favorite part of being a journalist. Not only that, but she likes the more social aspect that comes with working alongside other fellow journalists. “I really enjoy taking pictures and working with others in the class,” she said.
“I’m pretty reserved until you get to know me,” Rosenbaum said in regards to her personality. As for her hobbies, she bakes and draws in her free time. After High School, Rosenbaum wants to become an ultrasound technician.
