Ella Brummer is a 17-year-old senior and is a broadcaster for the 2025-2026 AHS Journalism team. She got into journalism this year because she “needed credits” for her senior year. But has enjoyed it nevertheless. Brummer said, “The best part of journalism is working with other people, and I like to write stuff.” Her favorite memory in journalism is eating pizza at the First Friday with fellow journalists and peers; she has really enjoyed the community. Brummer chose to do broadcasting in journalism because her friends were in that period for journalism, and it fit her schedule to do it then. She has really gotten to love working with the team and everything that it has offered. q

Brummer has two older siblings, Evan and Edria. She has been involved with many activities throughout high school, such as band, cross country, archery, and soccer. Her favorite of those is “cross country.” Throughout her years in Atlantic Highschool her favorite part of school has been all the fun activities that we do for homecoming, because it is something different that we do other than just everyday school.
