Empty out those pockets Atlantic High School! Loose Change Day will be held on Tuesday Dec. 13, 2016 to raise money for kids at Washington Elementary.
Student’s will be asked to give up their loose change during third period.

A close 3rd place finish was Eric Miller’s farm management class raising $48.46. The total earning last year was $375.08.
Tony Wiley’s class holds the record of most change with around $270. Wiley said “If you want to try to beat my class you better step up your game.”
Walker said “It is a great way to have fun between the teachers and students in their classes, and raise money for a great cause at the same time.”
Loose Change Day is taking place to raise money for the children at Washington Elementary School. The money goes to the children who are less fortunate, and don’t have warm clothes and gear for the winter. The money will buy the kids boots, pants, hats, gloves, and coats.
The length of time it takes for the teachers to count the change, is the amount of time the students get for free time during that class.
All students, teachers, and other faculty are encouraged to donate for the less fortunate kids.
