Teach me basic skills

Someone once said, “You learn things in school to help you in the real world.” I don’t think learning the algebraic proofs will help me know the basic rights I have as a citizen. Once we graduate high school, we are set off into adulthood without the necessary knowledge of basic “adulting” skills. As a student, I feel like we need to be taught the basics of that. For example, how to file income taxes, what is credit and how it works, and what are my assets vs liabilities. In the future, I’ll most likely be able to say, “I got scammed.”
