7. “Cigarette Daydreams” by Cage the Elephant

February 18, 2020

Released on Aug. 26, 2014, “Cigarette Daydreams” finds itself at number seven on this list.

“Cigarette Daydreams” is a little different from Cage the Elephant’s other songs, like “Ain’t No Rest For the Wicked” and “Come A Little Closer.” While “Ain’t No Rest For the Wicked” and “Come A Little Closer” are faster-paced and rely a bit more on the electric guitar, “Cigarette Daydreams” is more raw and is influenced by an acoustic sound.

I chose this song because it is really easy to get it stuck in my head, but it is also one of those few songs that I am okay with it being stuck in my head.
