Jennifer Miller owns Brymons Interior and talked about interior designers and interior decorators. She noted that there is a difference between an interior designer and an interior decorator; decorators undergo more schooling and do the work after the designer has gone through the home.
Miller and her husband started the business in 2006 and named it by putting together the names of her two children: senior Cambry Miller and 2017 graduate Damon Miller. Brymons sells a variety of items, including flooring, furniture and accessories. They also visit homes and help with designing and decorating.
From “working on the delivery truck to adding personal input to designing someone’s home and helping with the accessories,” Miller does it all. “It’s fun to mix colors and textures.” Her favorite part about her job is selling the accessories. Every year during the winter season, Miller said she travels to Las Vegas to a furniture market, at which there are huge showrooms of different products.
Sophomore Grace Barkley said she thought it was a “great presentation and it was very interesting.”
