Interpersonal Needs
We all share the interpersonal needs: inclusion, control, affection. We may contain these needs while expressing other traits that seem to battle against them. Caring and compassionate people may be overlooked, but they still have the basic interpersonal needs. It is not selfish to desire inclusion while choosing to stay home to avoid bothering others. People aren’t selfish if they want control, yet allow people to walk over them all the time. They aren’t wrong to desire love, especially when they give away all of their love and save none for themselves. Desires and interpersonal needs do not control you.
