“Elf” is a modern Christmas classic, with comedic actor Will Ferrell as the lead.

Day Ten: Don’t “Elf” With Me

Apparently, Will Ferrell likes playing the 30-year-old son who still has not left home. He has done it a few times. There’s “Step Brothers,” which I have only watched the first thirty minutes of, and in “Elf” he also plays a fully grown adult. At least in “Elf” he has a decent excuse as to why he still acts five. If you have not seen it, “Elf” is the story of Buddy, a human who was accidentally brought to the North Pole and they ended up raising Buddy as their own.

I was told by many different people that I should review this movie. I think this movie is a fun family film that is pretty different from most of the things Ferrell has starred in. It is pretty upbeat and, while there was a little bit of romance in the film, it did not take away from the plot, although some aspects of it did seem a bit forced onto the characters. This movie was also really funny, which is to be expected when Ferrell is in the movie.

You can buy this film on DVD, iTunes, and Google Play.
