Day Three: “Let It Snow,” “Let It Snow,” “Let It Snow”
“Let It Snow” is a Netflix Original film that is set in Illinois and stars the “Descendants” actor Mitchell Hope and “Spider-Man” actor Jacob Batalon. It also has “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” star Kiernan Shipka, with a few appearances by the woman, the myth, and the legend herself: Joan Cusack.
This movie has three different plots going on at once. If I’m being totally honest, I liked the idea but, not being a big fan of romances, this movie was not for me. All three of the stories were Christmas romances, and they were all high school seniors just trying to make it to graduation. There is one girl who is just trying to make her relationship work but is too self-centered to understand why it isn’t. There’s another couple who want to be together but are too afraid to try and do just that. The third is a girl, Dorrie, who is madly in love with another girl, but the other girl hasn’t officially came out to her friends. In turn, she acts terribly to Dorrie. In the end, it all gets sorted out, and life is great. This movie also has a pretty bomb soundtrack ranging from The Clash to The Rolling Stones.
This movie is available on Netflix. Obviously. It’s a Netflix Original.
