Jarrod O’Donnell

Band director Jarrod O’Donnell isn’t the biggest fan of his pet. His cat, Latte, was adopted by the O’Donnell family in the summer of 2018. The name ‘Latte’ was already given to the feline, as she was a shelter pet. As of now she is around four years old.

Why O’Donnell has a cat stems from the aspirations of his son, Colin. The boy had long wanted a cat, and when O’Donnell felt like his son was ready and could care for the pet correctly, they found a good cat for Colin.

Personality wise, O’Donnell describes his pet as “a jerk.” However, unlike most cats, she enjoys being on laps. Also, she is well behaved when it comes to staying out of things and making a mess. Latte also has the peculiar ability to roll-over, as well as being able to meow relentlessly. Even though O’Donnell isn’t Latte’s biggest fan, he enjoys having her around for the shire fact that she “makes Colin happy.”
