Sarah Elm

This year at AHS there have been many new additions to the faculty and staff. One of these additions is Sarah Elm, one of two new counselors. This is Elm’s first job as a high school counselor after finishing her Master’s at UNI. Prior to that, Elm went to school at ISU and she went to high school at Northeast Hamilton in Blairsburg, IA. 

Elm enjoys doing a wide variety of different things. These include listening to true crime podcasts, reading, cooking, tailgating for ISU football, and learning random facts. She has two dogs, Fletcher and Lucy. 

Elm became a high school counselor because she “wants to help students find their paths” and have “a safe place” to talk. Elm has also taken the helm of Student Council as a sponsor and is open to helping with any other extracurricular activities.
