School Passports

We all have school passports. But why do we even have to use them? I think that asking the teacher to go to a certain destination should be okay. I would hope they could trust you to go where you said. Plus, everyone loses their passports and just uses a friend’s because we don’t want to waste a dollar for another one. If we are forced to use them, they could have a class passport instead of everyone having their own and losing it. It would be much more efficient if we could just ask and be allowed to go.
