Basketball Shorts
Players shouldn’t be drowning in their own basketball shorts. A new rule was implemented in boys and girls basketball stating that they are not allowed to roll the waistband of their shorts. This means that some players are on the court playing with large or x-large basketball shorts that drape way beyond their knees. The players are then uncomfortable and more focused on the way their shorts fit than playing the game. The same thing can be said about the referees, as they should be watching the game rather than looking to see if someone’s shorts are rolled or not.
