Dress Code

Dress code is highly violated at AHS. In middle school, it was very strict. Students now wear clothes that show more than what is needed or wanted. I believe that students should be allowed to express their personality and style, but should be restricted to school appropriate clothing. Shirts with cuss words or offensive wording, belly shirts, short skirts and plunging necklines should be watched more closely. There is a fine line between expressing personality and being inappropriate in a school setting. In my opinion, our school is generous with violations, and students take advantage of the lack of enforcement.
