Katie Birge
Sophomore Katie Birge is a staff writer for AHS Journalism Production. Birge became involved in Journalism because she “loves writing," and "journalism is just one way I can express myself through my thoughts and words.” Birge also enjoys interviewing people. She said, “It's a way to talk to a stranger and learn more about them." A project Birge is most proud of is her photo project over band practices. When joining journalism one of the areas she wanted to learn and improve on was photography. Birge has always been interested in photography and wanted more of a background on it. 

Birge is also involved in choir, show choir, fall musical, and spring play. Birge’s hobbies consist of reading, along with videogames in her free time. Birge also enjoys hanging out and watching movies with her family. Birge looks up to her mom because she is “strong."

Katie Birge
